Moved to the UK in 1969 where I left home and lived for a little over the year, then moved to Danmark and spent the next year there, sailing and living with a family that I ended up "adopting". Upon return to the US, I moved to Lander Wyoming to do a National Outdoor Leadership School, NOLS, course and then stayed to teach and explore not only the nature of Wyoming, but also the world. Sailing, climbing and caving along with working the trades to keep going, took me around the world while returning to Danmark on a regular basis. Still here in Lander, Wyoming.

I was not too engaged with school short of some of my few favorite teachers, an English teacher at TLHS and a couple of teachers in junior high, Al Mehr and Zingler. Lot of psychedelics and some close calls with the police, kept me basically honest, though often rudderless till I got back into nature again.
